How it’s Performed
A catheter is inserted through the wrist or groin and guided under X-ray imaging to the arteries that supply internal hemorrhoids. Tiny particles are released to reduce blood flow, which helps shrink the hemorrhoids and stop bleeding.

- Prolapse of internal hemorrhoids
- Mucus drainage, pressure, or discomfort
